Join Certified Master Food Preserver Sarah at Sarah's Slow Jam for a hands-on beginner pickling & fermentation class. Whether you're looking to add more gut-healthy options to your diet or just looking to expand your kitchen knowledge, this class is a great place to start! This class will focus on two preservation techniques: 1) Refrigerator pickles: In this fun and engaging session, you'll discover the art of making brine and explore a variety of spices and fresh herbs to elevate your pickling game. 2) Fermentation: the traditional art of transforming fresh produce into gut healthy foods via lacto-fermentation process. Unleash your creativity in the kitchen and join us for this dill-lightful class! Participants will learn in a small-class setting, enjoying pickled light bites and take home 1 jar of refrigerator pickles and 1 jar of a fermenting product. Participants should wear closed-toe shoes. Classes are non-refundable.
