Apple Butter Pork Chops

These pork chops are the perfect mix of sweet and savory- juicy pan seared chops glazed with our Apple Butter for a caramelized finish. The warm spices and rich apple flavor make this dish a cozy weeknight dinner or a crowd-pleasing centerpiece for a fall table.

Ingredients:
4 thick cut pork chops
Salt & black pepper to taste
1 tbsp neutral oil such as vegetable or avocado
2 small/1 large onion cut into half-moon slices
2 medium apples cored and sliced
4 tbsp Apple Butter

Instructions
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Pat pork chops dry with a paper towel. Then, season pork with salt and pepper on both sides.
2) Heat oil in a large cast iron skillet.
3) Add chops to the hot pan, and sear on all sides until browned.
4) Add apples and onions to the pan.
5) Gently spread Apple Butter over the pork chops.
6) Spoon liquid from pan over the apples and onions.
7) Place pan in the oven and roast for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature of the pork chops reaches 145 degrees.
8) Spoon liquid from pan over pork chops before serving.
